A partnership between Good Hope Hospital and Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Council has seen the launch of a fantastic photo exhibition, celebrating the ‘soul’ of Sutton.

Residents were invited by the Town Council to submit their favourite images that captured the very essence of our Royal Town. Due to the variety of high-quality entries received, the Town Council wanted to share these images more widely with the community. Many of the entries showcased themes of health and wellbeing and highlighted the positive effects that nature, social interaction and creativity can have on people’s lives. Good Hope Hospital were looking to brighten up the walls of the Treatment Centre in time for the festive season, and so the perfect opportunity to collaborate presented itself.

Simon Jarvis, Hospital Executive Director said, “We are thrilled to be working in partnership with Royal Sutton Coldfield Town Council and pleased to host this fantastic photography exhibition.

“It showcases the talent of local residents and features beautiful images which really do capture what makes Sutton unique and a fantastic place to live and work.

“As well as being able to offer the Town Council a light and bright space within the heart of the Sutton community, we know that art is therapeutic for our patients and visitors, contributing to an overall enhanced patient experience.”
