Are you a manager or supervisor looking to offer a work experience placement? We have a live Work Experience policy and procedure on the intranet along with a FAQ section on this site which you can refer to for clarification.
To ensure compliance with health and safety requirements and safeguarding guidance, managers and supervisors should contact the Work Experience Team before agreeing to any placement. A risk assessment must be completed for clinical areas that includes consideration of any participant under the age of 18.
If you have been asked by a local school to give a talk about NHS careers, then please let our team know. If you wish to visit that school, then we can provide you with useful content to help with your presentation and any questions you may get.
